The AR-M1F is the folding-butt configuration of the Arsenal AD AR-M1 7.62×39mm family, differentiated by a side-folding stock mechanism that reduces overall length from 945mm (stock extended) to 690mm (stock folded) – a reduction of 255mm.
Weight without the magazine is 3.45 kg, and the sight radius is 378mm. The folding configuration suits deployment contexts that require minimum carry dimensions, including vehicle-mounted operations and units needing a more compact transport profile than the fixed-stock AR-M1.
The rifle shares the 7.62×39mm chambering, 415mm barrel, 30-round polycaproamide magazine, and 15,000-round service life with the rest of the AR-M1 family.
