The Atlas tank-ammunition range is organised around two distinct system families: 100 mm rounds associated with the T-55 and D-10 gun family, and 125 mm rounds associated with the T-72 and D-81/2A46 gun family. The difference between them extends beyond calibre to the architecture of the ammunition itself.

100 mm fixed and 125 mm separately loaded ammunition

The 100 mm branch includes fixed ammunition for the T-55/D-10 family. Atlas also lists a 100 mm fixed round with applications extending beyond the T-55 to other systems using the relevant ammunition configuration.

The 125 mm branch represents a different ammunition architecture. Rounds for the T-72/D-81/2A46 family are loaded separately, with the projectile and propellant charge as separate components of the complete ammunition system.
