The AR-M1 is Arsenal AD’s primary export-configured assault rifle in 5.56×45mm NATO, manufactured in Kazanlak, Bulgaria, as a modernized milled-receiver derivative of the AK platform. The design entered export service in 1998 and has since been acquired by armed forces and security services in Afghanistan, Iraq, North Macedonia, Libya, and other programs.

This listing covers two stock configurations: the AR-M1 with a fixed plastic butt at 875mm overall length, and the AR-M1F with a metal underfolding butt at 875mm extended and 640mm folded. Both configurations share the 415mm barrel, 600 rounds-per-minute cyclic rate, and 1350m maximum effective range. The AR-M1 platform accepts the GP-25, UBGL-M6, and UBGL-M8 underbarrel grenade launchers; the fixed-butt variant additionally supports optical and night sight mounting.

The platform chambers 5.56×45mm cartridges, the NATO-standard round compatible with STANAG 4179 box magazines, supporting procurement programs with mixed eastern-origin and NATO-configured small arms logistics requirements.

Available for institutional procurement by ministries of defence, authorized defence contractors, and licensed importers. Inquiries must include product designation, required quantity, country of final destination, intended end-use declaration, and applicable end-user certificate (EUC) or import authorization.
