Description

Atlas International Group deliver and supply 37/38mm cartridge tear gas. It is commonly used for crowd control purposes and is often deployed by riot police that are trying to subjugate large numbers of hostile targets. Atlas International Group supply two different types of 37/38mm cartridge tear gas.

37/38mm Cartridge Tear Gas (03 projectiles)

These are commonly launched from a minimum of 75 metres, making them great for long-range engagements with hostile targets. They release smoke for around 20 seconds each and can be launched from most 38 mm anti-riot weapons and specialized gas guns. They have a shelf life of around 5 years and are the go-to choice for crowd dispersing and control.

37/38mm Cartridge Tear Gas (Short & Long range)

Also known as the CTG SR and CTG LR, these are designed to temporarily incapacitate unprotected crowds in both open and closed indoor spaces. They can be fired from both long and short-range. The short-range variety has an effective range of 80 to 120 m, and the long-range variety is expected to be fired from at least a minimum distance of 135 m. The smoke emission time is roughly 20 – 30s.

Both cartridge tear gas produces the same symptoms in affected targets; irritation, temporary blindness, respiratory pain, eye pain and bleeding are common when used. The hard effects are often enough to take down even larger crowds that are being stubborn and refuse to disperse even when using other forms of crowd control.
