Description
120 mm HE Mortar Bomb
Atlas International Group deliver and supply 120 mm HE mortar bombs. These shells are designed to take out manpower, unarmoured targets and shelters. This is a 120 MM HE mortar bomb, so it is compatible only with heavy mortars such as the French MO-120 RT-61 or Soviet M1943 (also known as the SAMOVAR).
Heavy mortars generally have a maximum range that varies between 7,200 to 9,500 m and a minimum range of 500 m. Despite the variety of mortar calibres (such as 81, 100, 160 and 240 mm) being used around the world, 120 mm calibre mortars are still the most common heavy mortars in service due to their ease of operation and reliability. Currently, the French-designed MO-120 RT-61 is used in at least 24 different armed forces in the world, including the US and the French Army.
