The GH S&F-1-01 and GH S&F-13 are two sound-and-flash hand grenade configurations produced by Arsenal Defense, Bulgaria. Both are designed for use in confined spaces by law enforcement and military units; neither contains a fragmenting body, and neither causes physiological damage in normal use.
The two models differ in body construction and submunition configuration.
The GH S&F-1-01 uses a cardboard body and produces a single combined acoustic and optical effect; it is intended for Police and Military Forces in counter-terrorist operations, hostage situations, and order-restoration actions.
The GH S&F-13 uses an aluminum body with 13 submunition containers, producing multiple sequential acoustic and flash reports – a configuration for Special Forces and law enforcement applications requiring staged disorientation in enclosed spaces. Both use the AF14 fuse with a 1.5 to 2.3 second delay and share the same NATO Stock Number.
Available for institutional procurement by ministries of defence, authorized defence contractors, and licensed importers. Inquiries must include product designation, required quantity, country of final destination, intended end-use declaration, and applicable end-user certificate (EUC) or import authorization.
