The 5.56×45mm SAR-M4SF is the semi-automatic configuration of the Arsenal short-barrel semi-automatic rifles family – the export AK-derivative deployed across multiple programmes since 2000 – sharing the 215mm barrel, 500m sighting range, and 1100m maximum effective range of the select-fire AR-SF, while operating in single-fire mode only. The folded overall length is 520mm with the stock closed and 760mm extended. It maintains shared 5.56×45mm cartridge compatibility and a 30-round STANAG magazine feedwith the AR-SF and full-length AR-M1 configurations.

Available for institutional procurement by ministries of defence, authorized defence contractors, and licensed importers.
